There are also some new features in the system which you can find out about here.
Rollover is changing
For modules that were running this academic year and that have published reading lists, your list will rollover automatically as published, after the VLE rollover has taken place. If your module doesn’t run every year or you don’t see a list where you would expect to see one, please contact Library Reading Lists.
Autumn term lists - deadline Monday 6 August 2018
If you submit a new list or make amendments to an existing list by this date then we will be able to purchase new books, move items to the Key Texts Collection and action any digitisation requests for chapters and articles before the start of the new term. If you submit your list after this date we will still do our best to ensure that it is ready for the start of term but we will not be able to guarantee that everything will be in place.
Reading materials in high demand (including Key Texts)
Accessible scans for print-impaired students
From 2018/19 onwards we will ask you to use a new tag on your module’s reading list to highlight that it needs to be scanned for a print-impaired student. Instructions on how to do this are available here. If you haven’t had a reading list for your module but need to set one up to make use of this service, you can send it to us via the online submission form.
Summer vacation workshops - information and sign up available here
We’re running more workshops this summer for those who would like hands-on practice at using the system. They’re aimed at everyone in the University - people who would like a refresher on how to use the system and those who haven’t yet made any lists.
If you have any questions about what’s happening with Reading Lists over the summer vacation please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian.
