LLB (Hons), Solicitor
Associate Lecturer/PBL Tutor
I graduated in Law from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, then studied the Law Society Final Examination course (now the LPC) at The College of Law in Chester. I did my articles (training contract) with Hay & Kilner in Newcastle upon Tyne and qualified as a Solicitor in 1988. I specialised in commercial property work, before returning to the College of Law (now The University of Law), this time in York, as a tutor. I taught there for 25 years on the LPC and GDL courses, and was also involved in course design, my main subject areas being wills, tax, equity and trusts.
I joined York Law School as a PBL tutor in 2016.
