YLS Lecturer to Speak at Centre for Crime and Justice Studies Conference

YLS Lecturer Dr Joanna Gilmore will be speaking about her research on the crisis in police accountability and the development of community-based mechanisms for holding police officers to account at How Violent is Britain? a Centre for Crime and Justice Studies one day conference in Liverpool. The conference on 16 May 2014 will bring together campaigners, academics, key public figures and journalists to explore how we should tackle state, institutional, and corporate violence in Britain.
