The Department of Language and Linguistic Science invites applications for a PhD studentship starting in October 2018 (https://www.york.ac.uk/language/postgraduate/phd/). Any aspect of linguistics within the areas of expertise of the staff in the department (http://www.york.ac.uk/language/research) is eligible for support.
The studentship includes a fee waiver at the UK/EU level and a stipend of approximately £14,500 per year.

If you already hold a PhD place offer, you do not need to apply again.
