Students will take four 10-credit modules: Introduction to forensic speech science (L17M) Language variation and change (L19M) Quantitative methods (L33M) Phonetics and phonology (L29M)	Students will take two 20 credit modules: Articulatory and impressionistic phonetics (L02M) Phonological variation and change (L44M) There will also be weekly lab sessions	Research in forensic speech science (L32M) (20 credits)
Students who have prior background equivalent to one or two of these may be able to replace them with: Advanced phonetics (L69M) Advanced phonology (L70M)	Students who have prior background equivalent to these may be able to replace one of them with: The phonetics of talk-in-interaction (L28M) Second language phonology (L74M)	Dissertation (60 credits)
