I have a Master of Philosophy in Management and Economics from the University of Dundee, worked in this field for a couple of years before deciding to train to become a teacher. I have a PGCE in French and Spanish and taught in secondary schools in West Yorkshire before moving to York in 2006. I started working in the Department of Language and Linguistics in 2010.

I am very interested in French current affairs.
