The IT support team will be unavailable from 5pm on Thursday 29 March until 9am on Tuesday 3 April - this means that they won't be responding to email, telephone calls, or complex IT enquiries at the Library and IT Help Desk. The Library and IT Help Desk will be staffed until 7pm on Thursday 29 March, so staff will be available to answer routine IT enquiries.
During this period IT Services staff will not be on duty to attend to faults, but will be monitoring services remotely and will react in case of an IT emergency. During Library Self-service hours you can report an IT emergency via the Library reception.
In the event of an emergency, we will endeavour to provide information via our Twitter feed.
IT Services staff will monitor printer and toner levels on York Print Plus devices and will top up paper before Good Friday (Friday 30 March). Library staff will check and replenish the printers as necessary over the Easter weekend.
All other IT facilities should be available as usual outside normal hours, but access to the IT rooms will be subject to college opening hours.
