Do you fancy a job as a historical adviser? Are you a massive fan of Horrible Histories? Have you seen The Favourite and wondered about the historical accuracy of the rabbits? Then come along to this informal Q&A event with expert historical consultants, Hannah Greig and Greg Jenner. 

Hannah Greig is a senior lecturer in the history department and an established consultant to film, theatre & TV. Her credits include the recently released feature film The Favourite, Poldark (series 1-5), Gunpowder (2018), Jamaica Inn (2014) Death Comes to Pemberley (2013), The Duchess (2008), a forthcoming ITV drama Sanditon (adapted by Andrew Davies) and theatre productions for the RSC and for Jamie Lloyd’s production company. 

Greg Jenner is a public historian with a particular interest in communicating history through pop culture. He is the Historical Consultant to all series of the Emmy and Bafta award-winning Horrible Histories and is the author of "A Million Years in a Day: A Curious History of Ordinary Life from Stone Age to Phone Age", an entertaining romp through the evolution of our daily routines. Greg was also the co-presenter of 'Inside Versailles' the BBC's companion programme to the TV drama Versailles.

Find out what Hannah and Greg actually do, discover whether or not anyone listens to them and witness how the term ‘historical accuracy’ will make them talk for a really, really long time!
