Word, image, sound and object in the circulation of the sacred from the birth of Christ until the present day

The new exhibition Translating Christianity has now opened at the Old Palace, York Minster. Open throughout July 2015 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm), this display of books, maps and bibles from the York Minster Library collection explores the idea of the circulation of the sacred from the birth of Christ to the present day.

An accompanying online exhibition will be available from mid-July via the Ecclesiastical History website: http://www.history.ac.uk/ehsoc/content/home.

This event has been curated by IPUP intern Beth Richardson, on behalf of the Ecclesiastical History Society, in collaboration with York Minster Library and the University of York.

Location: Old Palace, Minster Library

Admission: Opening hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, throughout July 2015. Admission is free and open to all.
