John Atibila

Research Development Manager (AgriFood) & N8 AgriFood Knowledge Exchange Fellow, Research and Development Team

John Atibila is an interdisciplinary environmental social scientist, working across the broad areas of Agriculture, Food Science and Environment. He has extensive experience in technology transfer, knowledge exchange and development impact communication. His key strengths are in facilitating and building international research and knowledge exchange partnerships and resource mobilisation including proposal writing and reviews, including British Council-Newton, GCRF, ESRC, ETC. He is a member of the UKRI International Review Committee. His major impact has been in linking science, policy and practice for sustainable development. Before taking up his current job, he was Visiting Knowledge Exchange/Research Impact Fellow at University of Leicester and Director of Research, Innovation & Partnerships at Ghana Baptist University College, Kumasi in Ghana. He has also worked as a Director of Civil Society Organisations and Consultant to several international organisations.
