The role of The Proposition is to explore new interdisciplinary projects in an informal and supportive atmosphere. Sessions vary from the presentation of a polemical idea to a workshop discussion of a bid which is being developed for external funding. What we want to create is an experimental, adventurous and enjoyable event which sparks new ideas and helps develop exciting collaborative work across disciplines in and beyond the humanities.
Proposition workshops take place in the Treehouse, normally in a two-hour slot between 12.00 and 3:00pm (but see event pages for timings of individual sessions). Postgraduates, staff and visitors are all very welcome to join us.
If you have an idea for a Proposition, please contact the HRC Acting Director, Dr Kate Giles (firstname.lastname@example.org).
