Andrew studied Modern History at the University of St Andrews before completing his MA (by research) and PhD in History at the University of York. His PhD examined modern American conservatism and its influence on the United States' Cold War foreign policies in Central America. Before joining the HRC, Andrew taught at York and the University of Sheffield.
Andrew is the Impact Administrator for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. He supports members of the faculty in planning for, generating, collecting, and evaluating evidence of impact in their research projects.
