York student wins Oliver Sheldon Prize

Elena Grana has been awarded the 2017 Oliver Sheldon Memorial Trust History Prize

Elena Grana (BA in History and History of Art) has been awarded the 2017 Oliver Sheldon Memorial Trust History Prize) for her dissertation ‘Men in Glass: The Construction of a Masculine Identity in the de Mauley Window, York Minster’. 

This annual prize is awarded by the Trustees of the Oliver Sheldon Memorial Trust for the best undergraduate dissertation on a York related subject. The Trust is devoted to projects including dissertations and essay prizes that fulfil the charitable objectives of the Trust to further the understanding of the history of the City of York and its civic traditions.
