Teaching receives international recognition

York History staff honoured by the Higher Education Academy

Three members of our Department are to receive international recognition of their commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning in higher education.

and Stefan Bauer are to become Fellows of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) after demonstrating a sustained record of effective and excellent university history teaching.

The Chair of the Board of Studies, Mark Roodhouse, will become a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), nine years after he became a Fellow. This recognises the impact and influence he has had on university history teaching at York and beyond.
