Dr Sabine Clarke receives award for contribution to pedagogy project

The University of York ‘Making the Difference’ (MTD) awards provide recognition to staff who have made an exceptional contribution to a particular project.

We are delighted to announce the Dr Sabine Clarke has received an MTD award for her role in the York Pedagogy Project which ensures that all taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are aligned to certain principles. These include learning outcomes that accurately reflect what a student graduating from that programme is able 'to do' as a result of sucessful completion.

Dr Clarke has worked hard to align the various teaching and learning initiatives underway in the History department with the project, as well as engaging and inspiring colleagues and providing feedback within the department. She has also sought to disseminate successful approaches to the wider university through workshops, presentations, and focus groups.

Her work has made a significant difference to the project, and will have a direct impact on the student experience in the History Department. Well done Sabine!
