Museum and Heritage Careers Event

Selina Hurley, Curator of Medicine at the Science Museum, is giving a talk in the University's Open Lecture series (6:15 pm, Bowland Auditorium, Berrick Saul Building), entitled 'Putting the history of medicine at the heart of the Science Museum: Curating the new medicine galleries.' In addition to this, Selina has kindly agreed to do an informal session for students who may be interested in museums/heritage careers. This will be before the main lecture, in the Treehouse (BS/104), Berrick Saul Building from 3-4pm. Selina will speak briefly (c. 15 mins) about her own work and that of her colleagues, which will be followed by a Q&A. All students (undergraduate or postgraduate) are welcome.
