Friday 28 February 2020, 9.30AM to 6:30pm
The Department of History is delighted to support this one day conference, which will explore marginalised histories and the intersectionality between them, with a particular focus on LGBT+ history, women's history, BME history, and history of disability. Papers will be presented by academics and undergraduate students.
This conference is aimed at undergraduate students to give them a chance to take ownership of the discipline, but all students and members of the public are welcome to attend.
The keynote speech will be given by Catherine Hall, Emerita Professor of History at UCL, with panels chaired by Jonathan Saha and Sue Lemos. Confirmed speakers include Benno Gammerl and Esme Cleall
Undergraduate students can submit abstracts (100-250 words) and a short CV by 1 December 2019 to marginstocentreUG@gmail.com.
