Fresh Perspectives on Pilgrimage and Place

Tuesday 18 July 2017, 10.30AM

The Fresh Perspectives on Pilgrimage and Place conference will take place on Tuesday 18th July and Wednesday 19th July 2017.

In Autumn 2017 an interdisciplinary team (History, Social Anthropology, Religious Studies, Theology, Archaeology, Art History and 3D visualisation) from the University of York, Open University and University of Toronto will complete a 3 year AHRC funded project on ‘Pilgrimage and England’s Cathedrals, Past and Present’.

This conference is an opportunity to share project research outcomes in conversation with others working in the fields of pilgrimage and both journey- and place-related spirituality.

To find out more and register for the conference, please visit the Pilgrimage and England's Cathedrals website

Location: The Treehouse, Berrick Saul Building, University of York
