Can History Make Us Healthy? That is the question CGHH Director Sanjoy Bhattacharya will tackle as part of the BBC History Magazine History Weekend in York. In his talk 'Can History Make Us Healthy? Fighting Disease After WW2' (scheduled for 10.30 am on Sunday 21 October), Sanjoy will explore the fight for health rights in decolonising territories after 1945, examine debates surrounding disease eradication programmes, and show how carefully researched and independently written history is enormously important in shaping health policies.
Further details on Sanjoy’s talk and ticketing information are available via the Historyextra website.
