May 12-13, 2012. Berrick Saul Building

This innovative conference addresses the theme of transition in its broadest possible context, seeking to cross borders and break boundaries of subject and discipline, by presenting an exciting programme of emerging and progressive scholarship which engages with visual and material evidence from the medieval period. This two-day conference presents a diverse range of speakers covering a multiplicity of topics from across the medieval spectrum to explore the idea of Transition, to produce a dynamic and significant contribution to the extant understanding of this fluid cultural milieu.
