Sammi Scott

Sammi is a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Professor Jason Edwards at the University of York. Her research investigates the translation of fine art images into reproductive objects in the long nineteenth century, with a particular focus on how paintings were copied and converted into sculptural forms. Her wider interests include print culture, sculpture and the boundaries between art, craft and industry in the long nineteenth century. Sammi previously completed her MA History of Art (British Art) at the University of York and her BA History and Philosophy of Art at the University of Kent.
