Megan Henvey

Graduate Teaching Assistant

Megan completed her undergraduate degree in History of Art at the University of Warwick before undertaking a Masters in History of Art (specialism in Medieval Art and Medievalisms) at the University of York. After a short period working at the National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces she returned to York to continue research on the high crosses in the North of Ireland in her PhD research, supervised by Professor Hawkes. Now in the second year, Megan’s WRoCAH-funded research examines the iconography, history and theological import of these monumental early medieval stone sculptured crosses within their wider cultural contexts.
