Lydia Miller

Graduate Teaching Assistant

 

Lydia Miller is a PhD candidate supervised by Professor Elizabeth Prettejohn. Her research focuses on the British portraitist Ambrose McEvoy, using his work as a means to explore modernist group dynamics within a larger network of artists. Prior to commencing her doctoral research, Lydia worked as a Researcher for Philip Mould & Co. and as a freelance Cataloguer and Picture Researcher at the Paul Mellon Centre in London. She completed her MA in medieval gothic architecture at the Courtauld Institute of Art and graduated from the University of York with a BA(Hons) in English and History of Art.
