Chad Elias speaks at Northwestern University

Chad Elias is participating in a symposium at Northwestern University this week.

Before the Contemporary: Arts, Institutions, Revolutions is a week-long conversation about new historiographies of art, urban space, and public culture in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, 1900-present.  Chad will be presenting his paper Images from an Unfinished Revolution.

Other speakers include Sam Bardouil, Till Felrath, Emma Chubb, Nancy Demerdash, Brynn Hatton, Kristine Khouri, Anneka Lenssen, Talinn Grigor, Katarzyna Pieprzak, Dina A. Ramadan, Erin Reitz, Elliot Reichert, Sarah-Neel Smith and Jessica Winegar.
