Stained Glass Research School Visit to Blythe House

Wednesday 9 March 2016, 8.00AM

The visit is intended to develop the Stained Glass Research School (SGRS)'s relationship with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), which is one of the University of York's principal partner organisations. The V&A has one of the largest and richest collections of stained glass in Europe and there are many opportunities for fruitful research collaborations with students and staff from the University of York. The SGRS visit, which will provide students with unique access to items from the stained glass collection which are not currently on display, as well as the chance to discuss these items with prominent academics and V&A staff, offers the opportunity to explore possible MA dissertation and doctoral research topics.

The event is currently full. If you are interested in joining a waiting list, please contact Katie Harrison (keh504@york.ac.uk).
