Connecting Dots: Art History and the British Empire

An informal workshop of short presentations, exploring the collective intellectual genealogy of British art and empire studies, examining how and why key scholars began to consider the intersections of art and imperial Connecting Dotshistory, and developed their research in the contexts of their lives and the academy.

The workshop consists of a series of intellectual autobiographies and an open discussion, chaired by Professor Liz Prettejohn.

The workshop is supported by the British Art Research School in the Department of History of Art.
