Vegan Theory Workshop

Monday 1 December 2014, 1.00PM to 2,00pm

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vegan Society, the Centre for Modern Studies will be hosting a short, lunchtime event.

The workshop will feature two short interdisciplinary position papers by Emelia Quinn and Benjamin Westwood, two of the most exciting voices in the fast developing field of vegan theory, a theoretical position which aims to promote forms of academic practice that seek "to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to animals".

The workshop is open to everyone.
