Nassos is a health economist, who graduated with first-class honours in BSc Economics from the University of York in 2018 and with a distinction in MSc Health Economics from the University of York in 2019. During his MSc dissertation he worked as an intern in WHO to investigate the inequalities in the affordability of fluoride toothpaste around the globe. Additionally Nassos graduated with an MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Glasgow in 2020.
His PhD thesis focuses on the cost-effectiveness analysis of SWATs (Studies within a Trial) for improving recruitment and retention in RCTs. His PhD supervisors are Professor David Torgerson, Dr. Adwoa Parker and Sarah Ronaldson.
