Biography

Maddy is a researcher in public health, working on food aid and food insecurity in the UK.  She has experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative research on socio-economic inequalities. Her PhD looks at cultural, ethnic and religious differences in the provision of food aid and the prevalence and experience of food insecurity. 

Maddy previously worked as a researcher at The Equality Trust and the Resolution Foundation.

Overview

Maddy's research interests include income inequality and health, third sector and religious provision of food aid in the UK, ethnic differences in food poverty, sustainability, and income inequality.
