Simon Appleton
Data Analyst



Simon trained as a physicist at the University of Warwick before going on to work on a fuel poverty programme at the Energy Saving Trust Scotland as a reporting officer.

After leaving the Energy Saving Trust he joined the Epidemiology and Cancer Statistics Group (ECSG). His main role within ECSG is as a Data Analyst for the Haematological Malignancy Research Network (HMRN) focussing on the data processes within HMRN and contributing to analyses done within the group.

Alongside his day-to-day role, Simon is studying for a MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications at the University of Sheffield.
