Profile

Biography

Sheila qualified as an enrolled nurse in 1987 and converted to a registered nurse in 1996. She is also a qualified midwife.

She has worked in theatres, anaesthetics and recovery as well as surgical wards covering general, vascular and urology. She practiced in intensive care for 5 years, as a midwife for 2 years and within the theatre environment for around 6 years. Sheila briefly worked in neuro rehab and in the special care baby unit as a deputy sister before coming to work at the University.

Sheila will be working to support student nurses in their practice learning.

  • RM BSc (Hons)
