Biography

Deborah commenced her career in nursing in 1981. Since then she has undertaken various roles most noteably including staff nurse; senior instructor for social services working in day services for adults with profound and complex physical and learning disabilities; training officer for York Community Services; nurse tutor and lecturer at Hull University (a post she held for16 years). Deborah has been a lecturer at the University of York since 2004.
