Ben is a Research Associate in the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group, working as part of the Closing the Gap Network. He is primarily working on the OWLS study, which is a longitudinal cohort study exploring how the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions have affected people with severe mental ill health.
Ben is also currently finalising a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Sheffield, which has involved the investigation of relapse of depression and anxiety following psychotherapy.
Ben’s research interests are in mental health, behavioural and low-intensity interventions, long-term outcomes, and predictive modelling.
