Biography

Dr Andrew Papworth is a Research Fellow at the Martin House Research Centre within the University of York's Department of Health Sciences. Andrew completed his PhD at University College London (UCL) in 2018 on the food security of the Rama indigenous group in Nicaragua. In 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar in the School of Nursing at the University of Virginia. Before that he completed an MSc in Health Sciences at the University of York, which was funded by an NIHR CLAHRC ARiAS Studentship.
