Zoe graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2000 with a BA Hons in German and Spanish.  She has enjoyed a varied mix of jobs in this country and abroad, including teaching, fundraising, events management and administration.  She joined the university in 2017 as the PA to the Dean of Arts and Humanities. There she enjoyed getting involved in projects across the university before being seconded to the Environment Department in September 2019.  After 2 months her role as PA to the Senior Leadership Team was made permanent.  Just before Christmas that year she was promoted to Departmental Administration Coordinator.

Key duties include:

  • Oversight, documentation and continuous improvement of general administrative processes across the Department
  • Support for departmental HR processes and record-keeping
  • Support for equality, diversity and inclusivity activity
  • Support for sustainability activity
  • Management of casual workers
  • Executive support to the E&G Leadership Team

Zoe's working hours are currently rather flexible due to childcare issues and the Covid-19 situation. Usually in the office they are as follows:

Monday 08:30-17:30

Tuesday 08:30-17:00

Wednesday 08:30-17:30

Thursday 10:00-14:30

Friday 08:30-17:00
