Overseas Student Bursary

The Department of English and Related Literature is delighted to announce a bursary for Overseas students joining the Department as undergraduates in October 2017. £1,000 sterling will be awarded, in the form of a partial fee-waiver, or a termly book prize, to the most successful Overseas English Literature student next October.

To be eligible, you must be:

  • Paying fees at the overseas rate for the three years of your degree course
  • Studying single subject English Literature (Q300)
  • A 2017/18 UCAS applicant, due to start your course in October 2017.

The award will be based on the candidate's examination performance up to and including A level, or equivalent. Other performance indicators may also be taken into account by the Department's academic assessors.  There is no need to submit a formal application; all eligible applicants will be automatically considered.
