Alexandra is a lecturer in modern and contemporary literature, with specific interests in 21st-century literature, affect, and visual culture. Her book, Contemporary Novelists and The Aesthetics of 21st-Century American Life, is out in September with Iowa University Press' New American Canon Series.  She is also a Contributing Editor at ASAP/J, the open-access platform of  the journal for the Association for the Study of the Arts of the Present.
