PhD student awarded the Beryl Mavis Green Prize

PhD student, Rebecca Vos, has been awarded the Beryl Mavis Green Prize by the British Federation of Women Graduates.

Scholarships are awarded in the competition on the basis of overall academic excellence, and required both a written summary of research and a presentation and interview with a panel.
Rebecca's thesis, "The perception and production of vowels sung at high fundamental frequencies", is supervised by Helena Daffern and Damian Murphy (Department of Electronic Engineering).
