Dr David Chesmore Appointed as Vice President of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers

David was appointed as one of three Vice Presidents of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE) at their AGM on the 28 April 2016. The appointment is for three years and David will serve on the Executive Committee. He has been a Fellow of the IAgrE for 15 years and became a Chartered Environmentalist through the institution in 2007.

The IAgrE, founded in 1938, is the professional body for engineers, scientists, technologists and managers in agricultural and allied landbased industries, including forestry, food engineering and technology, amenity, renewable energy, horticulture and the environment. As a licensed body of the Engineering Council (EngC) and a constituent body of the Society for the Environment (SocEnv), IAgrE is able to register suitably qualified and experienced professionals to the registers of the EngC (CEng) and SocEnv (CEnv).
