I joined the Department of Education as a Resource Developer in January 2019. Prior to that, I completed a BA in French and Spanish and an MA in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching. I have worked as English language teacher in Spain and Colombia and have also carried out research on second language sentence processing.
In my current role, I create educational materials for foreign language teaching in UK secondary schools as part of the National Centre for Excellence for Language Pedagogy (NCELP). I am also working with NCELP colleagues on a new Key Stage 3 curriculum for Spanish, which is now being resourced (see https://resources.ncelp.org/).
