Profile

Biography

Yaprak joined the Department of Economics and Related Studies at the University of York in January 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a Lecturer in Economics at Newcastle University, and at NCH at Northeastern University. Yaprak is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Research

Overview

Yaprak's main area of research is macroeconomics, with specialisations in financial markets and crises, financial stability and regulation, macroeconomic policy, and inequality.
