Research

Overview

My primary research interests lie in the fields of family and health economics. In particular I am interested in the empirical analysis of the determinants of health with the ultimate aim of supporting the process of public policy making at local, regional and national level to improve children’s well being and development.

My current research agenda is focused broadly on inequalities in children and it is organised around two main determinants of child development: families and health care systems.
