Office for National Statistics Invites you to a talk on "GDP - what is the point"? Presented by, Jonathan Athow, the Director of Economic Statistics and Deputy National Statistician.
We would also like to take this opportunity to speak to students about graduate career opportunities at ONS and within the Civil Service - as economists, statisticians and operational researchers. The ONS is looking to increase its analytical capability by recruiting economists, statisticians and operational researchers, at graduate level and above. We currently have opportunities for graduates, across the analytical professions and are offering successful candidates the potential to defer their start date until after graduation.
Click HERE for the ONS economist graduate recruitment scheme, open until 4th December.
Here are blogs, written by our graduate economists, that give an insight into working at ONS:
If you would like any further information about the graduate economist positions please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) .
