You will work mainly on team-based projects commissioned under the NIHR Technology Assessment Reviews (TAR) programme, where you will lead the development and critical review of decision model components of HTA, done mostly for NICE. you will also contribute to other CRD projects, which may include undertaking decision analytic modelling, statistical analysis and evidence synthesis, including parametric survival modelling, network meta-analysis and analysis of individual participant data. You will be expected to plan and develop new research ideas and make funding applications.
Applicants should have a Masters-level qualification in health economics or other quantitative subject and PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant discipline. A detailed knowledge of HTA methods and research techniques and statistical methods used in applied economic evaluation is expected, as is experience of publishing and disseminating research and contribution to the process of securing research funding.
The post is full-time with Fixed-Funding until 31st March 2027. Closing date for applications is 22nd April 2021.
