After completing an engineering degree in Biotechonology, I joined the software development industry as I wanted to learn coding and to experience the corporate world. I worked in database design for financial companies for some time before I was interested in the field of computational biology. Following which I completed a Masters in research in Computational Biology from UCL where I worked on creating and analysing next generation sequencing datasets. This piqued my interest in core biological research utilising interdisciplinary approaches.
