My interests lie in the application of analytical chemistry techniques in driving our understanding of basic science underlying the recurrence of bacterial infections in the bladder.

Background

I am a biomedical scientist by training, having studied Medical Pharmacology as an undergraduate at the Cardiff University School of Medicine, and Biomedical Science as a Masters by research student at Glasgow University. I specialised in Systems Biology and integrative mammalian physiology at Glasgow, and gained valuable experience using proteomics as a tool to understand systems biology.
