CIDCATS Student Bryony Ackroyd

Bryony Ackroyd

2014 entry

Background

I completed an Undergraduate Masters at the University of Sheffield in Biochemistry. During my time at Sheffield I carried out lab projects in Immunology and Structural Biology where I became interested in how to combat infectious diseases using Structural Biology techniques, for example to identify bacterial toxin structures. I have found that the CIDCATS program caters to these interests perfectly and also gives me room to develop other skills and areas of interest such as programming.
