Green Chemistry Croda Workshop - Opportunities for Novel Research

Tuesday 25 September 2018, 10.00AM15:00

Speaker(s): Becky Wood, Open Innovation Coordinator, Croda; Ian Hobday, European Synthesis Research Manager, Croda

Aims of the Workshop

This workshop aims to further understand capabilities and areas for collaboration with Croda, with:

  • Groups and departments with whom there is already a strong relationship (i.e. GCCE, CNAP)
  • New groups and departments where there may be exciting and unthought of opportunities

Croda wish to look at pathways to new products from bio-derived feedstocks. This would feature a number of approaches, including modelling, to predict physical properties, structure / function relationship and modelling in application. Any novel product would have to be both sustainable (green chemistry principals) and show potential economic viability.

How to Attend

The workshop is open to anyone who feels they could contribute.

Please complete the short Google form to confirm your attendance.

Funding Opportunities

There are a number of potential funding opportunities, including through RenewChem, a non-competitive industry facing club focusing on research within a circular economy framework.
