The data projector can be turned on/off using the display buttons in the top left corner. The projector will take 1 minute to start / shut down, during this time the button will flash.
There is a volume dial for display sources. The LED display will indicate the current volume level.
Video sources e.g. PC, laptop, can be selected at the press of a button, switching between sources may take a couple of seconds. Changing sources is not possible while the projector is starting up.
There are multiple laptop cables available in this room, if no image is shown, please check you have the right input selected for the cable used.
Blank / Pic Mute will temporarily blank the projector but not the comfort monitor, allowing you to use the PC etc. without it being displayed to the class.
Auto Image will correct an image e.g. if the edge is missing.
Aspect will attempt to fix squashed or stretched images from the DVD player.

This room has timetabled lecture capture facilities available for recording audio and projected images.
Please ensure that you use the radio lapel microphone to get the best quality recording. It is located in a charging dock on the lectern and should be returned there after use.
Log off (don't shut down) the PC, and remove any USB memory sticks/CDs/DVDs that have been used.
Use the button to turn the projector off.
The PC will be turned off automatically at the end of the teaching day.
Please do not turn off any equipment at the wall, as we have tests that run overnight.
If you need urgent assistance, please call the duty technician on x3036 (01904 32 3036) from the phone in the room. This will be transferred to a mobile phone after 30 seconds.

If you get an error saying 'Logon Server Unavailable', restart the PC by holding down the power button until the PC powers off, press it again to reboot the PC.
No display on monitor
Turn monitor on using button at base
No buttons illuminated on control panel
Ensure that the equipment trolley is turned on at the wall.
