Education

I hold an LLM in Human Rights (Distinction) from Birkbeck, University of London. My first degree was in Law (2:1) from the University of East London.

Experience

I have over a decade's experience in the legal and charity sector. Most recently, I managed access to justice projects within the advice sector and worked at EachOther, a digital human rights charity. I currently work part-time as a charity consultant at JUST: Access, a legal tech social enterprise. I'm also a graduate teaching assistant at York Law School.

Research

My PhD project is provisionally titled: "The women and children of ISIS and their journeys back home: Challenges in the UK and beyond."  The research project will consider the legal and human rights issues for families of the 'foreign fighters' of ISIS. My supervisors are Dr Ioana Cismas and Dr Lawrence McNamara.
